OUR GOALS

  1. Rewarding work

Grow the share of businesses with a future, of larger scale and of greater social value, widening the technical discretion employees have to speak up and take on challenges.

  2. A company to be proud of

Be recognised from outside as an attractive company for engineers and designers, so that employees feel a strong sense of belonging and pride.

  3. An environment that backs your challenges

Build the culture and the resources for everyone to pursue what they want to do with passion, at work and beyond.

  • weLpack

WESEEK's own flexible benefits plan. Pick the menu items you want with your points. Options include tech event and study session fees, PC peripherals, subscriptions for tech services such as AI tools, meal delivery and housekeeping services, and rent support (conditions apply).

  • KPT

Every two weeks, each project team gets together and everyone shares what the team should Keep, what is a Problem, and what to Try next. There is also time for employees to tell interns what they should Keep.

  • WSD

WESEEK's in-house currency, the WSD (WeSeek Dollar). Earn it by sending thanks and encouragement, joining KPT or hosting a study session, and exchange it for technical books, PC peripherals and more. The Strategic Planning Office runs it.

  • Thinking out loud on Slack

A habit of writing what you are working on, where you are stuck and what you have noticed into Slack, as if talking to yourself. It sorts out your thinking, lets anyone who spots you stuck offer advice, and leaves the process behind as team knowledge. It is for every role, and a good rule of thumb is to post once you have been stuck alone for 15 minutes.

  • Development camp

Employees and interns hold development camps, spending several days building something together as teams.

In 2026 we held a hackathon with Shinjo Village, Okayama (4 days, 19 people including students). Building on the ideas born there, we kept developing with the village and started a pilot of the tourism web app “Yottoko! Shinjo Village”.

  • In-house study sessions

Held from time to time. Employees and interns alike take the lecturer's role.

Topics include Git, Kubernetes, databases, GitHub Actions and technical writing, putting the WESEEK CREDO of sharing knowledge with the team into practice.

  • Company events

The Strategic Planning Office runs a variety of company events throughout the year.

Alongside seasonal gatherings such as the intern welcome party, the year-end party and Setsubun bean-throwing, there are events that spark conversations between people who don’t often talk, such as a mystery game in which the GROWI mascot is “kidnapped” and a mind-sports tournament.

  • Reviews and 1on1s twice a year

The CEO and project leaders carry out reviews twice a year.

Separately, employees hold 1on1s with each other twice a year.

Interns have 1on1s too. The first is with the CEO about two months after starting, then with employees every four months.

  • ITS (Intern Tracking Summit)

Once a year, former interns are invited back to talk about their careers after WESEEK.

Planned and run by current interns.
